The OnePlus Watch 3 is shaping up to be a standout in 2025, with one key upgrade that fans have been eagerly waiting for: a more intuitive, tactile way to navigate the UI.
Leaked specs show that the rotating crown, which was previously non-functional on the OnePlus Watch 2, will return, offering users a better way to interact with the device.
This tactile control will complement the touchscreen, making navigation smoother, much like the Apple Watch and Pixel Watch 3.
Beyond the improved UI, the OnePlus Watch 3 could also feature a significant battery upgrade to 648mAh (up from 500mAh in the Watch 2), promising even longer battery life.
Other specs include the Snapdragon W5 Gen chip, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage, ensuring top-tier performance. The smartwatch will also likely retain the efficient Real Time Operating System.
As for health features, an ECG will be available in select regions, though it may be limited by legal restrictions. LTE connectivity is also being explored, which would make the Watch 3 a fully independent device, but it’s unclear if this will be available globally.
The OnePlus Watch 3 is expected to launch in Q1 2025 in two colors, including a Radiant Steel finish similar to the previous model.
