Terminator Zero Plot

The series is set in two time periods: 2022, where a war rages between humans and machines, and 1997, when the artificial intelligence entity known as Skynet gained self-awareness and began its war against humanity.

A soldier from the future is sent back to 1997 to protect a scientist named Malcolm Lee, who is working to launch an AI system designed to counter Skynet’s impending attack. As Malcolm navigates the moral complexities of his creation, he is hunted by an unrelenting assassin from the future, forever altering the fate of his children.

Terminator Zero Cast

The series features a talented voice cast, including:

  • Timothy Olyphant as the Terminator
  • Rosario Dawson as Kokoro, an advanced AI and Japan’s answer to Skynet
  • Ann Dowd as The Prophet, the philosophical guide for the human resistance
  • André Holland as Malcolm Lee, a genius computer programmer and father of three
  • Sonoya Mizuno as Eiko, a resistance fighter sent back in time to stop Malcolm

Terminator Zero Production Team

“Terminator Zero” is directed by Masashi Kudo, with Mattson Tomlin serving as the showrunner, executive producer, and writer. The animation is being handled by Production IG.
