Tech CEO and HR Head Exposed by Kiss Cam During Boston Coldplay Show

Andy Byron, CEO of tech company Astronomer, and Kristin Cabot, the company’s Chief People Officer, were caught in an awkward moment during a Coldplay concert in Boston on Wednesday night.

During the show, the “kiss cam” focused on the pair, who were seen with their arms around each other. When lead singer Chris Martin pointed at them, Byron, who is married, quickly pulled away and hid behind a barrier. Cabot covered her face in embarrassment.

Andy Byron has led Astronomer for two years. Before that, he held senior roles at companies like Lacework, Cybereason, and Fuze. He is married to Megan Kerrigan Byron, with whom he has two children.

The incident sparked reactions on social media. Some users criticized Byron for cheating and felt it was unfair for his wife to learn about the affair from strangers online. Others commented on the public nature of the moment or expressed distrust toward HR professionals.

Astronomer’s leadership team also includes co-founder Pete DeJoy, CTO Julian LaNeve, and Chief Customer Officer Bhanu Sareddy, alongside Cabot.
