Stranger Things Season 5 Trailer Shows Eleven’s Most Powerful Ability Yet

Netflix’s latest teaser for Stranger Things Season 5 has revealed a major new development in the series: Eleven now appears to have the ability to fly.

Throughout the series, fans have seen Eleven’s powers evolve in significant ways. From telekinesis and telepathy to remote viewing and briefly losing her powers altogether, her journey has been filled with change.

In a brief moment from the new teaser, Eleven is shown leaping an extraordinary distance to the roof of a bus in the Upside Down.

This is the first time the series has hinted at her potential for flight. Although she is not fully flying yet, the teaser shows her performing a superhuman leap that could be an early sign of controlled flight.

Previously, Eleven has only levitated involuntarily during moments of extreme power use, such as when she closed the Gate in Stranger Things Season 2. These levitations were often side effects of her telekinetic strength rather than a skill she controlled.

Season 5’s teaser now suggests that Eleven may have gained conscious control over this aspect of her power.

How Did Eleven Gain This Power?

The development of this new ability makes sense within the story. After the events of Season 4, which ended with Eleven regaining her powers through The Nina Project, she has had nearly two years to train and prepare for the next battle.

Vecna, the main villain of Stranger Things’ later seasons, has shown telekinetic strength and the ability to levitate using vines from the Upside Down.
