The popular indie game Stardew Valley has received a new free mod that significantly expands the in-game mines.
Created by modder Vanillin, the Vanillin Deep Mines mod adds ten new mine levels, mini-bosses, tool upgrades, and resources that refresh every 28 in-game days. The mod is available now for PC via Nexusmods.
Stardew Valley, developed by Eric Barone (ConcernedApe) and first released in 2016, has been widely praised for its farming simulation gameplay and has received numerous official updates over the years.
The game has also benefited from a vibrant modding community that continues to introduce new content, visual enhancements, and gameplay improvements.
While the new mines mod is exclusive to PC, Stardew Valley continues to be available on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices, allowing players on those platforms to enjoy the game with official updates.
Barone is also working on his upcoming game, Haunted Chocolatier, though no release date has been announced.
