Starbucks has launched a new twist on its classic Frappuccino with the introduction of the Strato line. This new range features layered cold foam instead of the usual whipped cream, offering a fresh texture and modern look.
The three new Strato flavors—Brown Sugar, Strawberry Matcha, and Salted Caramel Mocha—are available for a limited time starting Tuesday, July 8, while supplies last.
The Brown Sugar Strato combines brown-sugar cold foam and a hint of cinnamon with Frappuccino roast coffee, milk, and ice. It is designed for fans of the Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso who want a creamier option.
The Strawberry Matcha Strato blends unsweetened matcha, classic syrup, milk, ice, and strawberry cream cold foam, creating a refreshing summer flavor.
The Salted Caramel Mocha Strato features mocha sauce, coffee, milk, and ice, topped with salted caramel cream cold foam and a caramel drizzle.
The cold foam adds a light and airy texture, giving the drinks a modern feel while keeping the rich flavour Frappuccinos are known for. Starbucks encourages customers to customize their drinks and offers the option to skip straws, supporting sustainability.
This launch marks the 30th anniversary of the Frappuccino, which was first introduced in spring 1995.
Recently, Starbucks also released the Firework Frappuccino, a limited-time summer drink with mixed berries, coconut milk, and popping raspberry pearls.
The company is bringing back raspberry syrup for a limited time this month, following the release of its summer menu in May, which includes the Summer-Berry Refresher and the Iced Horchata Oatmilk Shaken Espresso.
Starbucks continues to expand its summer offerings with new beverages and food items like the Strawberries & Cream Cake Pop, reflecting its commitment to seasonal innovation.
