'Star Trek: Prodigy' Season 2

The highly anticipated second season of the animated series “Star Trek: Prodigy” is set to premiere on Netflix on July 1, 2024.

The show, which follows a group of young aliens who join Admiral Kathryn Janeway on a mission to find the original crew of the USS Protostar, has been eagerly awaited by fans since the first season’s cliffhanger ending.

The second season will continue the story of the young warrant officers as they embark on a quest to locate Voyager’s Chakotay in the Delta Quadrant. The season will also address the fate of Gwyn, who left the group in the finale to seek peace among her people, the Vau N’Akat.

The show’s writers, Kevin and Dan Hageman, have expressed their intentions to write the series for a minimum of seven seasons, ensuring that fans can look forward to more adventures and excitement in the galaxy’s Delta Quadrant.

The voice cast of “Star Trek: Prodigy” boasts an impressive lineup, featuring Kate Mulgrew, Brett Gray, Ella Purnell, Rylee Alazraqui, Angus Imrie, Jason Mantzoukas, Dee Bradley Baker, John Noble, and Jimmi Simpson. Their diverse talents bring the animated series to life, adding depth and personality to its characters.

The second season of “Star Trek: Prodigy” was initially canceled by Paramount+, but fans rallied, launching a letter-writing campaign that ultimately led to the show’s revival on Netflix. The series is now set to be released on Netflix in the U.S. and most international territories, except for Canada and countries where SkyShowtime is available.

Fans can look forward to the premiere of “Star Trek: Prodigy” season 2 on July 1, 2024, and can catch up on the first season currently streaming on Netflix.
