Netflix is set to hold a major production presentation for Squid Game Season 2 on December 9 at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza in Seoul.

The event will welcome approximately 160 foreign journalists and influencers from 22 countries, including the United States, Argentina, Brazil, and the UK.

The press conference, which follows the announcement of martial law in South Korea, will proceed as planned, with no disruption expected from travel advisories issued by several nations.

After the event, attendees will have the opportunity to meet key cast members, including Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byung-hun, and Im Si-wan, to discuss the themes and production of the series.

Season 2 of Squid Game continues the story of Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae), who returns to the deadly games, now seeking revenge, while the Frontman (Lee Byung-hun) awaits him.

The series is helmed by director Hwang Dong-hyuk, returning as the writer and producer. The event’s large scale reflects the series’ global popularity.
