Squid Game Season 2 introduces a variety of thrilling new games, each with unique twists that test the players’ survival instincts and strategic thinking.
From traditional games with deadly stakes to high-risk challenges, hereโs a rundown of the games featured in the season.
List of Games in Season 2
Ddakji: A traditional South Korean game where players flip each otherโs folded paper tiles, deciding who goes first through Rock Paper Scissors.
Red Light, Green Light: The first game of the season, where players must freeze on “Red Light” and run on “Green Light.” Movement during “Red Light” results in elimination.
Six-Legged Pentathlon: Teams of five players, tied together at the ankles, must complete five mini-games within a time limit. The games include:
- Flying Stone: Knock over a stone using another stone from a distance.
- Gong-gi: A fast-paced game involving small round pieces.
- Spinning Top: Players wind a rope around a spinning top and launch it to land upright.
- Jegi: Similar to hacky sack, players keep a weighted object off the ground using their feet.
Mingle: Players must group together based on a number called out while on a spinning platform. Failure to form the correct group or reach the designated room in time results in elimination.
Jokenpo: A variation of Rock Paper Scissors played with two hands, where players must quickly pull back one hand to avoid disqualification.
Russian Roulette: Players take turns with a revolver in this high-stakes game, with unpredictable rules as the cylinder is not rotated after each round.
We also see players attack each other overnight while lights flash in their sleeping area, similar to the chaos from Season 1’s special rounds.
