Netflix has released a teaser for the highly anticipated second season of “Squid Game,” showcasing a new set of players.
The video introduces contestants with numbers like 124, 380, 390, and others, while also confirming Lee Jung Jae’s return as Player 456, Seong Gi Hun.
Set to premiere on December 26, 2024, the new season takes place three years after the events of the first season. Gi Hun, determined to end the deadly game, finds himself having to re-enter the competition to take down the organization behind it.
Returning cast members include Lee Byung Hun, Wi Ha Jun, and Gong Yoo, joined by new additions such as Yim Si Wan, Kang Ha Neul, and Park Gyu Young.
Netflix has announced that “Squid Game” will conclude with its third season, scheduled for 2025.
