Jacob Batalon, known for his role as Ned Leeds in Spider-Man, has announced his engagement to girlfriend Veronica Leahov.
On March 5, 2025, Batalon shared the happy news on Instagram, posting photos from the proposal. He was dressed in a black leather jacket and kneeled to ask Leahov to marry him.
The proposal took place in a beautiful setting with candles and a red rose heart with the words “Will you marry me?” glowing in the background. Leahov wore a glittering gown and a cream-colored fur jacket.
Batalon also posted a close-up of the engagement ring, which has a princess-cut diamond with an intricate band. In his caption, he wrote, “The beginning of the rest of our lives together.”
Leahov also shared moments from the proposal, including a kiss after she said yes. She posted on Instagram, saying, “A lifetime of us!!!! I never imagined my heart could hold so much love.” She also shared a clip of the couple toasting with champagne, writing, “The next chapter is already my favorite.”
Batalon’s announcement received congratulations from fans, friends, and co-stars, including Jack Quaid and Remy Hii. Fans also noted that all the main Spider-Man cast members are now engaged, including Tom Holland and Zendaya.
Leahov, originally from Moldova, is a commercial interior designer after studying at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York.
