Anker Soundcore V40i leaks

Anker is preparing to launch new earbuds in its popular Soundcore lineup. The latest leak reveals the upcoming model may be called the Soundcore V40i. These earbuds will feature an open-ear design, making them different from traditional earbuds.

According to a leak by tipster AnkerInsider on Twitter, the Soundcore V40i will have 15 x 13 x 4mm drivers that support sound frequencies from 20Hz to 20kHz.

The earbuds will include four microphones, likely with environmental noise cancellation (ENC) to improve call quality. Users will also get touch controls with tap and hold functions.

The V40i will use Bluetooth 5.4, offering a connection range of up to 10 meters. It will support Dual Connection, allowing the earbuds to connect to two devices at once.

On a single charge, the earbuds will deliver about 6 hours of playtime. With the charging case, the total battery life can reach up to 21 hours. The charging case will have a transparent design and an IP55 rating, meaning it is resistant to dust and water.

Pricing and release date have not been announced yet. However, the V40i may cost around $50, similar to its predecessor, the Soundcore V30i. This leak comes just a month after Anker released the Soundcore Liberty 5 earbuds.
