Sony has unveiled the Xperia 10 VII, a midrange smartphone featuring a new camera bar design reminiscent of Google Pixel devices. The phone launches in Japan, Europe, and the UK with a starting price of £399 / €449.

The Xperia 10 VII offers a 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, running Android 15. It is powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, expandable via microSD.

Sony promises four years of Android updates and six years of security patches. A 5,000 mAh battery supports up to two days of usage.

Other notable features include front-facing stereo speakers, a headphone jack, and a boxy design carried over from previous Xperia models. The new camera bar, inspired by the Pixel 9 and Pixel 10, is color-matched to the body, available in white, charcoal, and turquoise.

Pre-orders for the Xperia 10 VII begin today, with the official launch scheduled for September 19.
