After nearly a year since its first season concluded in March 2024, Solo Leveling returns for its highly anticipated second season, Arise from the Shadow, premiering tomorrow on Crunchyroll.
The first season followed Sung Jinwoo, the worldโs weakest hunter, who was resurrected with a unique program called the System.
This allowed him to level up in strength and abilities, setting the stage for his rise in the hunter world. The second season picks up where the story left off, with new challenges and powerful enemies on the horizon.
To celebrate the return, Crunchyroll has unveiled promotional art, including a poster featuring the villain Baruka, who was introduced in the Solo Leveling Reawakening 2-part film. This suggests Baruka will play a significant role in the upcoming season.
In addition to the anime’s return, the Solo Leveling: Ragnarok webtoon sequel and the Solo Leveling: ARISE mobile game are also generating buzz.
The game recently hit over 12 million pre-registrations globally ahead of its May 2024 release.
Solo Leveling Season 2 -Arise from the Shadow- will consist of 13 episodes, releasing weekly on Crunchyroll starting at 12:30 p.m. EST.
