After the Grand Theft Auto 6 announcement trailer dropped over a year ago, Rockstar has remained silent, leaving fans eager for updates.

A recent small leak from Rockstar’s offices has sparked some excitement, though it doesn’t reveal much.

A Reddit user named JustLovett0 posted an image of the game running on a PS5 dev kit, reportedly taken in 2021 by someone close to them at Rockstar.

The post was quickly removed, but the image has since been shared widely. Along with the image, two one-second-long videos of Xbox dev kits in an office setting were included, but no gameplay footage was shown.

While the leak doesn’t provide much new information, Rockstar has recently re-uploaded the GTA 6 trailer on the Chinese social media platform BiliBili.

The new version is in higher resolution, revealing subtle details like acne on characters, sand textures, stretch marks on NPCs, and arm hair on the protagonist Lucia.

Although the leak is minor, fans are hopeful for more updates soon, as GTA 6 is scheduled for release in Fall 2025 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
