‘Severance’ Season 2 Wins 6 Emmys Before Main Ceremony

Apple TV+ series Severance Season 2 won six awards at the Creative Arts Emmys on September 6, strengthening its position as a contender ahead of the Primetime Emmy Awards on September 7.

The sci-fi thriller, which explores the strange world of Lumon Industries and its severance procedure, has been praised for both storytelling and production.

Merritt Wever won Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series for her role in the second season. The show also earned awards for Outstanding Title Design, Production Design, Music Composition, Sound Mixing, and Cinematography.

Starring Adam Scott, Britt Lower, Tramell Tillman, and newcomer Sarah Bock, the series continues to mix psychological drama with dark humor. Directed by Ben Stiller and created by Dan Erickson, Severance has received strong fan support online, with praise for its visuals and music.

The show now heads into the main ceremony competing in major categories such as Outstanding Drama Series against The White Lotus and Succession. Its early wins highlight its strength in both artistic and technical areas.
