While facing serious legal challenges, Sean “Diddy” Combs has found a way to make money by renting out his $60 million private jet. Since his arrest in September 2024 on federal sex trafficking charges, the 55-year-old music mogul has reportedly earned about $4.1 million through this venture.
The jet, a Gulfstream G550 registered under his company LoveAir LLC, has been chartered 126 times, flying over 149,000 miles. Many clients renting the jet do not know it belongs to Combs.
This move helps Combs cover the high costs of his ongoing trial. The aircraft, operated by Silver Air and listed on luxury charter sites like Jettly, offers a luxurious experience with a 14-passenger capacity, sleek black exterior, and plush oak-colored interior.
Each flight averages around $32,597, creating a significant income stream during his legal battle. Combs has reportedly spent at least $10 million on his defense, hiring top lawyers for the case.
Combs is currently on trial in Manhattan federal court, facing serious charges including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation for prostitution. The trial has gained widespread attention, with testimonies from his former partner Cassie Ventura and rapper Kid Cudi revealing details of the alleged abuse.
Despite the accusations, Combs denies all charges. If found guilty, he could face a life sentence. The trial will continue for several weeks with more evidence and witnesses expected.
