Actor Scott Wolf has withdrawn the temporary restraining order against his estranged wife, Kelley Wolf, after the couple reached a new custody and financial agreement during their ongoing divorce.
A Utah judge dissolved the restraining order on July 19, just four days after the couple signed a temporary stipulated agreement. The agreement outlines how they will co-parent their three children—Jackson (16), Miller (12), and Lucy (11)—as they continue the divorce process.
Custody and Visitation
According to court documents, Scott Wolf will have temporary sole physical custody of the children. Kelley Wolf will have supervised parenting time, arranged by legal counsel, along with three supervised phone or video calls each week. If the court-appointed guardian decides that supervision is no longer necessary, this condition may be reviewed.
The agreement states that the ultimate goal is for Kelley to eventually regain unsupervised parenting time, but this will depend on future evaluations.
Rules for Communication and Social Media
Both parties agreed to strict communication guidelines. They are prohibited from discussing the divorce, adult matters, or the children’s relationship with the other parent in front of the children. Neither is allowed to make negative comments about the other parent or ask the children about life in the other household.
A social media gag order has also been put in place. Neither Scott nor Kelley can post about each other, their marriage, their children, or the divorce online. They also cannot allow friends or family to post on their behalf.
Financial and Housing Details
As part of the agreement, Scott Wolf will continue living in the couple’s Park City home. Kelley may visit the house for supervised parenting time if both parties agree on the terms.
Scott will also manage the couple’s marital funds, cover household expenses, and pay Kelley $10,000 per month for living costs. He will also cover her car payments, minimum credit card payments, and a portion of her legal fees.
Background of the Case
Scott Wolf filed the temporary restraining order on June 25, claiming that Kelley’s actions posed “a substantial threat of immediate and irreparable harm” to their children.
The situation escalated after a June 13 incident, when Kelley was placed on an involuntary psychiatric hold under California’s 5150 law, which allows law enforcement to detain individuals for mental health evaluation if they are considered a danger to themselves or others. Court documents said Kelley allegedly tried to take the children out of the country before being detained.
On July 6, she was placed on a second psychiatric hold following an incident involving an alleged knife. She spent a week in a treatment center in Salt Lake City.
End of a 21-Year Marriage
Kelley Wolf first announced the couple’s separation on June 10 in a social media post, writing that the decision came after “a long, quiet journey.” She praised Scott as “one of the best fathers” and “partners” she had ever known.
Scott later confirmed the divorce filing, saying that after 21 years of marriage, this was the most difficult decision of his life. He emphasized that their children remain their top priority and asked for privacy as the family moves forward.
