The Samsung Galaxy S25 series is almost here, and the full specs have been leaked once again.
While many of the changes may seem overdue, there are a few notable upgrades compared to the Galaxy S24 series.
Snapdragon 8 Elite Chipset: The Snapdragon 8 Elite will power the Galaxy S25 series in all markets, ensuring improved performance across the board.
Camera: The Galaxy S25 Ultra will feature a 50MP ultra-wide camera, which, while an improvement, is not groundbreaking given the availability of similar features on mid-range phones.
The 200MP main camera, 50MP 5x periscope, and 10MP 3x cameras remain unchanged, as does the 12MP selfie camera. However, AI enhancements promise 43% better color and brightness.
Log Video Recording: The Galaxy S25 series will support log video recording, which improves dynamic range, and a new Audio Eraser feature will help remove background noise from videos.
Galaxy S25 Ultra: Will come with 12GB of RAM and storage options of 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. The battery remains at 5,000mAh with 45W charging.
Galaxy S25+: Expected to feature 12GB of RAM and 256GB/512GB storage, with a 6.7-inch QHD+ display and 4,900mAh battery. It will also support 45W wired charging.
Galaxy S25: The base model will now have 12GB of RAM (up from 8GB) and options for 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage. It will feature a 6.2-inch 1080p+ display and a 4,000mAh battery with 25W wired charging.
The S25 and S25+ will retain the same camera setup as last year, with a 50MP main camera, 10MP 3x telephoto, and 12MP ultra-wide camera.
The focus will be on the new Snapdragon 8 Elite ISP and AI improvements for better image quality.
Here’s how the Galaxy S25 series compares to its predecessors:
Model | Height | Width | Thickness | Weight |
---|---|---|---|---|
S24 | 147.0mm | 70.6mm | 7.6mm | 167g |
S25 | 146.9mm | 70.5mm | 7.2mm | 162g |
