Samsung Galaxy A56 Leaked Images Hint at Major Camera Design Shift

Samsung Galaxy A56 Render

Leaked renders of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A56 have surfaced, giving us a glimpse of its design. The images, based on CAD files, show that while the phone still maintains the familiar Samsung look, there’s a noticeable design shift, particularly in the camera layout.

Unlike previous models in the A5x series, which had separate mini-islands for each camera, the A56 now features a larger, oval-shaped camera island that houses all the lenses together.

This design change is the most significant difference compared to its predecessors, although the bottom bezel appears slightly smaller as well. However, since these are CAD-based renders, the final design might not be entirely accurate.

It seems that Samsung is making an effort to distinguish its mid-range devices from the high-end models. If the leaks surrounding the Galaxy S25 series are correct, we might see this trend continue with premium models retaining individual mini-camera islands.

The Galaxy A56 is expected to come with several upgrades, including an improved selfie camera, 45W wired charging support, and the Exynos 1580 chipset.

The A55 launched in March 2024, so it’s likely that the A56 will be unveiled in March 2025. We’ll keep an eye out for more details as they emerge.
