Samsung has confirmed the release of the Galaxy A16 5G in the US, set to launch on January 9, 2025. Alongside it, the Galaxy Fit3 will also be available, offering users a complete tech bundle.
The Galaxy A16 5G boasts a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a 1080×2340 resolution, a 90 Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 800 nits.
Itโs powered by the Exynos 1330 SoC and comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, expandable via microSD.
The camera setup includes a 50 MP main sensor, a 5 MP ultrawide, a 2 MP macro, and a 13 MP selfie camera. It also features a 5,000 mAh battery with 25W wired charging support.
The device runs Android 14 with One UI 6.1 and is guaranteed six major Android updates, extending its support until Android 20.
It will also receive six years of security updates, making it a strong contender in the budget 5G smartphone market.
The Galaxy A16 5G will be priced at $199.99 and available in Blue Black and Light Gray colors. It will be available for purchase on Samsung.com and through select retailers and carriers.
Alongside the A16 5G, the Galaxy Fit3 will be available for $59.99. Samsung is also offering a 50% discount on the Fit3 if you purchase the A16 5G directly from Samsung by February 9, 2025.
