Samsung One UI 7 Update

Samsung is working hard to roll out the stable One UI 7 update for its Galaxy devices. While Galaxy S24 users eagerly await the update, new information suggests the series might first receive the February 2025 security patch based on One UI 6.1.

Earlier this year, Samsung launched the stable One UI 7 with the Galaxy S25 series. Other Galaxy devices, including the S24 series, are still waiting for the update. Reports indicate the rollout could begin in February 2025.

A new test build, S928BXXS4AYAA, has appeared for the Galaxy S24 series, hinting at an upcoming update. This build is currently being tested for Indian variants, as shown by the CSC code (INS). While it’s unclear if this update will include the stable One UI 7 or just the February security patch, it signals that an update is on the way.

Samsung has not officially confirmed the release date for the stable One UI 7 update. However, the company is actively testing the software, suggesting the rollout could happen soon.

In the meantime, Galaxy S24 users can expect improvements through the February 2025 security patch or the highly anticipated One UI 7 update. Stay tuned for more updates.

DECO PIC App Gets One UI 7 Support

Samsung’s DECO PIC app, which lets users add stickers and effects to photos, has been updated to support One UI 7. The app, previously part of the AR Zone, is now available as a standalone download on the Galaxy Store.

This update aligns the app with One UI 7’s fresh design and improves its functionality. Users can now download DECO PIC separately, making it easier to access creative tools for photos and videos.

Galaxy AI Writing Tools Now Available on Gboard

One UI 7 brings a major change for Galaxy users who prefer Gboard over Samsung Keyboard. Galaxy AI writing tools, such as spelling and grammar checks, summarization, and style suggestions, are now accessible on Gboard.

While the integration is not as seamless as on Samsung Keyboard, this move allows users to enjoy Galaxy AI features without switching keyboards. Samsung plans to optimize Gboard further for better integration in the future.

January 2025 Security Updates Roll Out

Samsung has started rolling out the January 2025 security patch to several Galaxy devices, including the S24 series. The update addresses over 50 vulnerabilities and improves system stability.

Users are advised to install the update promptly to benefit from enhanced security. To check for updates, go to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.

One UI 7.0 Rollout Set for February 7, 2025
