K-pop star Rosé has made a powerful solo debut with her album Rosie, landing at No. 2 on the ARIA Albums Chart. This marks her highest solo debut in Australia, matching her previous success with BLACKPINK’s The Album and Born Pink.

Her lead single, “APT.” featuring Bruno Mars, continues to dominate the ARIA Singles Chart, holding steady at No. 1 for a sixth non-consecutive week. Additionally, her new track, “Toxic Till the End,” enters the chart at No. 31, boosted by a cinematic music video starring Evan Mock.

Meanwhile, Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department remains at No. 1 for a record-breaking seventh non-consecutive week, surpassing Sabrina Carpenter’s Short n’ Sweet, which spent six weeks at the top earlier this year.

This marks Swift’s 11th No. 1 album in Australia, setting a new record for the most No. 1 albums by a female artist in the country. Her album also achieved the biggest opening week of the year, moving over 100,000 units and breaking the record for the most first-day Spotify streams in Australia.

The ARIA charts also see the return of holiday classics, with Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” at No. 8, Wham!’s “Last Christmas” at No. 10, and Brenda Lee’s “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” at No. 16.

With Taylor Swift continuing her chart dominance and Rosé rising as a solo artist, the competition for the top spot remains fierce.
