Rob Ford’s Scandalous Story Captured in New Netflix Doc Called ‘Jaw-Dropping’

Trainwreck 'Rob Ford'

Netflix viewers are hooked on a new documentary described as the “most chaotic watch since Tiger King.”

The film, part of the Trainwreck series, tells the story of Rob Ford, the controversial former mayor of Toronto. Ford’s time in office was marked by scandals that shocked Canada and the world.

Ford was elected mayor in 2010 but faced a public downfall after videos surfaced showing him smoking crack cocaine. He later admitted to addiction struggles and spent time in rehab. Despite his troubles, Ford briefly returned to office before ending his term in 2014.

The documentary Trainwreck: Mayor of Mayhem explores Ford’s rise and fall, capturing his chaotic political career. TikTok reviewer Katie Movie Reviews called it “jaw-dropping” and “the most chaotic political watch since Tiger King.”

Critics have mixed views. The Guardian praised the film for its provocative take on politics, while Decider said it fell short on depth.

Ford planned a political comeback but withdrew after being diagnosed with liposarcoma, a rare cancer. He passed away in 2016 at age 46. His family remembered him as a beloved son, brother, husband, and father.

The documentary is available to stream now on Netflix for those looking for a gripping, wild political story.
