Redmi has launched updated versions of its Book 14 and Book 16 laptops in China, now powered by the latest Intel Core 5 220H processors.
These refreshed models are similar to the 2024 versions but offer better performance and battery life.
The new laptops feature improved battery life, which has increased by 15.6%. Redmi attributes this improvement to AI technology in the Intel chip, while the battery capacity remains the same.
Both laptops come with high-quality displays. The Book 14 has a 16:10 screen with a resolution of 2,880 x 1,800 pixels, supporting a 120 Hz refresh rate and 400 nits of brightness.
The Book 16 has a slightly different aspect ratio and a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels. Both laptops offer 100% sRGB color coverage.
In terms of performance, the laptops are equipped with up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1 TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD storage. They run Windows 11 and include a dual-fan cooling system for better heat management.
The Book 14 features a 56 Wh battery, while the Book 16 has a 72 Wh battery. Both models support 100W fast charging with a GaN adapter.
They also include multiple ports, including USB-C 3.2 Gen 2, HDMI 2.1, and USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, along with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity.
