‘Real Housewives’ Star Kandi Burruss to Receive Lifetime Achievement Award at BravoCon

Kandi Burruss will receive the Wifetime Achievement Award at BravoCon 2025, recognizing her 14-season run on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.”

The announcement was made on “Watch What Happens Live” by host Andy Cohen, who said the award would be presented during The Bravos ceremony at the fan convention in Las Vegas this November.

“Kandi Burruss is the next recipient of the illustrious Wifetime Achievement Award recognizing her incredible run on The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Cohen said during the late-night show.

Burruss, who joined the Atlanta franchise in Season 2 and remained for 14 seasons, expressed her excitement about the honor. “I’m super excited about it. I really do appreciate it. I feel like I put a lot of time,” she said.

The singer, songwriter, entrepreneur and Broadway producer will be the second Real Housewives star to receive the award. Vicki Gunvalson from “The Real Housewives of Orange County” was the first recipient in 2023.

Burruss was a central figure during some of the Atlanta show’s most popular seasons and became known for her business ventures and music career alongside her reality TV appearances.

When asked about potentially returning to the franchise, Burruss left the door open but suggested it was unlikely in the near future. “I guess you can never say never, but I don’t really see it happening anytime soon,” she said.

BravoCon 2025 will take place at the Caesars Forum in Las Vegas from November 14 to 16. The fan convention brings together stars from across Bravo’s programming and attracts thousands of reality TV fans.

The Wifetime Achievement Award represents the network’s recognition of cast members who have made significant contributions to the Real Housewives franchise over extended periods.

Cohen praised Burruss during the announcement, saying he was “so happy we get to really honor you in a really great way at The Bravos this year.”
