POCO has launched the POCO M8 Pro in global markets, shortly after introducing the standard POCO M8 in India. The new model targets the budget and mid-range segment, offering a large battery, an OLED display, and updated software at a relatively low price.
The phone features a 6.83-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It supports Dolby Vision and offers up to 3,200 nits of peak brightness. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and includes advanced dimming features to reduce eye strain.
The POCO M8 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor. It comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The device runs Android 15 with HyperOS 2 straight out of the box.
A 6,500mAh battery powers the phone and supports 100W wired fast charging. In terms of cameras, the rear setup includes a 50MP main sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide lens, while the front has a 32MP selfie camera.
The device also offers strong durability features, with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for water and dust resistance. Other features include stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, an in-display fingerprint sensor, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and dual nano-SIM support.
The POCO M8 Pro is available in Silver, Black, and Green. Pricing starts at $299 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, while the 12GB RAM version is priced at $359. POCO is offering a $20 discount during the first sale, with availability confirmed for the UK and several European countries.
