PlayStation Players Can Now Download 6 Free Games Without PS Plus Subscriptions

PlayStation fans can now grab six exciting new free downloads, and the best part is — no PS Plus subscription is required. These are free demos of upcoming games, giving players a chance to try them before release.

The free downloads were announced following the Summer Game Fest, and they are now available on the PlayStation Store. Here’s a quick look at the six demos you can play right now.

Cairn is a climbing survival game where players help a character named Aava reach the top of Mount Kami. You’ll need to watch her carefully to keep her safe from injuries and exhaustion.

Terrifier: The ARTcade Game is a pixel-style beat-’em-up based on the Terrifier movies. You play as Art the Clown and fight your way through the game with bloody action.

Nioh 3 Alpha lets players experience intense samurai battles. This is the first demo for the new game in the popular Nioh series. If you complete the demo, you’ll unlock a special helmet in the full game. This demo is only available until June 18.

Lost in Random: The Eternal Die is an action roguelite where you play as Queen Aleksandra with her magical dice companion. You’ll fight enemies and roll the dice to survive. However, your progress won’t carry over to the full game.

ANNIE: Last Hope is a top-down shooter set in the 1990s. You play as Annie, who’s trying to find her fiancé after monsters invade the world. The story reveals dark secrets about the invasion.

Through The Nightmares is a challenging platformer where you play as the Sandman, a spirit who can change size. Your mission is to save children trapped in a nightmare world.
