Dhaka-based game studio Auleek has announced a new single-player adventure game, Over & Out!, set in the bustling streets of early 1990s Dhaka.
The game tells the story of a young boy who builds a walkie-talkie network to stay in touch with his best friend after he moves to a different neighborhood. Through this storyline, Over & Out! explores themes of friendship, childhood imagination, and the challenges of growing up.
Players will experience the city through the lens of childhood, where everyday places such as construction sites become adventure zones and secret clubhouses. The game also includes mini-games like kite-flying and fishing, adding to its nostalgic and playful feel.
Built on Unreal Engine, Over & Out! has already drawn attention from indie and retro gaming fans for its colorful visuals and heartfelt tone. Auleek recently shared a preview on social media and invited fans to join their Discord community for development updates.
The studio said the project aims to celebrate South Asian culture while highlighting the universal experiences of childhood. While no release date has been confirmed, Over & Out! is positioned to become a notable entry in the indie gaming scene.
