President Donald Trump is scheduled to deliver a surprise Oval Office address at 2 p.m. ET today, amid growing concerns about his health. The White House confirmed the announcement but did not provide further details.

Speculation has intensified after reports that Trump was recently diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency.

Social media users have debated the implications of the address, including possible resignations or medical emergencies, drawing comparisons to his COVID-19 hospitalization in 2020.

Trump’s limited public appearances in recent days have added to the uncertainty about his fitness for office.

According to White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt, the announcement will be “related to the Department of Defense.”

Security measures are in place, with all roads leading to Walter Reed hospital reportedly closed ahead of the address.
