Ukrainian model Maria Kovalchuk has shared incredible progress after surviving a horrific attack at a Dubai party last year. She suffered a broken spine and legs, leaving her wheelchair-bound for months.
The 21-year-old was in Dubai to make OnlyFans content when she missed her flight to Thailand. She says she was lured to a party by wealthy men, mistreated, and beaten, leading to life-threatening injuries and an induced coma.
Kovalchuk spent months in rehab, undergoing ten major surgeries, including operations on her spine, legs, and shoulder. She credits her family, friends, and sheer determination for helping her recover.
Now, Maria can walk without a wheelchair. She shared videos of herself walking across a snowy bridge in Norway and doing yoga and stretches with a trainer as part of her rehabilitation.
She warns young women against chasing wealth or powerful men, saying the experience changed her outlook on life and taught her to value inner strength.
Authorities have not charged anyone yet, and the exact circumstances of the attack remain unclear, though medical experts say her injuries were likely caused by beating and possibly a vehicle, not a fall from height.
