OnePlus has officially revealed its next big mid-range smartphones — the OnePlus Nord 5 and OnePlus Nord CE5 — set to launch on July 8, 2025, in Europe and the UK. These new phones are designed to offer flagship-level performance at a more affordable price.
The OnePlus Nord 5 will feature the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, typically found in more expensive phones. It also comes with LPDDR5X RAM and a large CryoFlex Liquid Cooling System to keep the phone running smoothly even during heavy use.
OnePlus says the Nord 5 is made for gamers and creators. It will support Battlegrounds Mobile India at native 90fps and up to 144fps using special frame rate technology, giving users smoother and faster gameplay.
Both new Nord models will feature a vertical camera setup for better internal space and design balance. The OnePlus Nord 5 will be available in Dry Ice, while the Nord CE5 will launch in Marble Mist.
OnePlus is also introducing new features like the Plus Key, a customizable button that lets users quickly open apps, switch settings, or use new AI-powered tools. The AI Plus Mind system helps organize and search on-screen content, making everyday tasks easier.
With strong performance, new AI features, and bold colors, the OnePlus Nord 5 and Nord CE5 aim to set a new standard for mid-range Android phones. More details and reviews are expected closer to their release in July.
