Samsung Galaxy S25 users may not have to wait much longer for the stable One UI 8.5 update. A new report suggests it could arrive by the end of April 2026.
Veteran Samsung analyst Tarun Vats posted on X that Samsung plans to roll out the stable One UI 8.5 update to the Galaxy S25, S25+, S25 FE, and S25 Ultra on April 30, 2026.
South Korea will get it first. International users in regions like India and Japan can expect the update to follow on May 4, 2026, with a gradual expansion after that.
The update brings several new features to the Galaxy S25 lineup, including new 3D icons with a depth effect on the homescreen, a fully customisable Quick Settings panel, a revamped Battery Info page with an improved Power Saving Mode, and a new feature called Now Nudge.
Samsung has already been seeding One UI 8.5 Beta 7 to Galaxy S25 users in India, which introduced changes like a new story type in the Samsung Gallery app and a multi-AI Bixby powered by Perplexity AI.
The stable release is expected to bring even more to the table, and Galaxy S25 users have been eagerly waiting for it.
Samsung has not officially confirmed the April 30 date yet. We’ll update you as soon as the rollout begins.
