Offset has released his new album KIARI, and fans are paying close attention to its final track, “Move On.” The song directly addresses his past relationship with Cardi B and their divorce.

On the track, Offset raps about moving forward in peace while acknowledging past mistakes. “I take the blame, okay / I take the shame, okay,” he says, while also expressing frustration and throwing subtle shade at his ex. At one point, he tells Cardi, “Hope your next n***a be great.”

During the album’s press run, Offset explained that “Move On” was meant to close the chapter on his marriage. “It’s about moving on, like, peacefully,” he said. “It was great while it lasted. That shouldn’t be the topic for either one of us no more. It’s a book that’s closed.”

Despite the emotional lyrics, Offset emphasized that his goal was not conflict, but resolution. He described the track as a “peaceful and loving” way to end that part of his life.

KIARI marks one of Offset’s most personal solo projects yet, touching not only on his breakup but also on his growth and accountability. While “Move On” has sparked the most discussion, the album includes a range of themes that fans are still unpacking.
