The Nothing Phone (4a) has appeared on Geekbench ahead of its official launch, giving fans an early look at what to expect.

The listing confirms the phone will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chip. That’s a small upgrade over the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 used in the previous model.

The chipset features an octa-core setup, with a prime core clocked at 2.71GHz, three performance cores at 2.40GHz, and four efficiency cores at 1.80GHz. Graphics are handled by the Adreno 810 GPU.

The tested unit comes with 12GB of RAM. However, Nothing could still release lower RAM options when the phone launches. The device is also listed with Android 16 out of the box.

In AI benchmark tests, the Phone (4a) scored 707 in single precision, 1077 in high precision, and 1265 in quantized performance.

Geekbench results do not reveal details about the display, cameras, battery, or charging speeds. But they confirm that Nothing is sticking with a solid midrange processor and pairing it with generous RAM.

The Phone (4a) is expected to launch alongside the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro and a new audio product called the Headphone (a).

Reports suggest prices could increase by as much as 30% due to an ongoing DRAM shortage. Nothing is expected to launch the new devices in March, although an official date has not yet been confirmed.
