A new anime streaming option is on the horizon for fans in North America. Japanese entertainment company Remow has announced the launch of “It’s Anime,” a 24/7 Free Ad-Supported Streaming Television (FAST) channel available in the U.S. and Canada.
The service will launch on Samsung TV Plus, offering fans round-the-clock access to anime without subscriptions or paywalls. The move positions “It’s Anime” as a strong competitor to major players like Netflix, Crunchyroll, and Hulu, all of which require paid plans to access most content.
What to Expect from “It’s Anime”
According to Deadline, the channel’s lineup includes a mix of classic titles and modern hits, such as:
- My Deer Friend Nokotan (2025)
- Umamusume: Cinderella Gray
- Kuroko’s Basketball (2012–2017)
The service aims to be a “premier destination” for anime fans, especially those looking for free and accessible content. CEO Akira Ishii said the platform was created to match the rising demand for anime in North America, where recent box office successes like Demon Slayer: Mugen Train and The Boy and the Heron have proven anime’s mainstream appeal.
Why It Matters
With the growing popularity of anime in the West, fans have often expressed frustration over paywalls and delayed access to new content. “It’s Anime” promises to change that by offering timely and free streaming of high-quality shows—addressing a long-standing gap in the market.
Remow also hopes the channel will help reduce piracy by offering legitimate, free options, while expanding anime’s reach to new audiences.
