Disney+ has announced that Korean crime thriller Nine Puzzles is its most-watched Korean title of 2025 worldwide. The series reached this milestone just nine days after its debut on May 21.

Starring Kim Dami as criminal profiler Yoon Ena, the story begins with a teenage Ena discovering her uncle’s murdered body and a mysterious puzzle piece.

Years later, now a profiler, she finds herself investigating new murders linked by similar puzzle pieces. The cast also includes Son Sukku, Kim Sungkyun, and Hyun Bongsik.

Nine Puzzles is directed by Yoon Jongbin (Narco Saints) and written by Lee Eunmi (Tunnel). The series is part of Disney+’s growing lineup of Korean originals, which includes recent titles like Unmasked and Hyper Knife. More series are on the way, including Low Life and Tempest.

With its gripping plot and strong performances, Nine Puzzles has quickly become a standout success on the platform, setting a new bar for K-dramas on streaming in 2025.
