Honor 400 and 400 Pro Teaser

Next Honor Flagships to Offer 7,000mAh Batteries and 100W Fast Charging

Honor plans to make large battery capacities a key feature in its upcoming smartphones, according to a new leak. Tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) reports that the company’s 2025 flagship devices will come with at least 7,000mAh batteries, while mid-range models will feature 8,000mAh or larger batteries.

The news follows the recent launch of the Honor X70 in China, which features an 8,300mAh silicon-carbon battery. Honor has already been focusing on high-capacity batteries, but this move would set a new standard for the company’s entire lineup.

For comparison, last year’s Honor X60 came with a 5,880mAh battery, and the X60 Pro featured a 6,600mAh cell. Honor’s flagship Magic7 series offered between 5,650mAh and 5,850mAh batteries. If the leak is correct, the next-generation Magic8 series will see a significant battery upgrade.

Along with the larger batteries, Honor is expected to maintain 100W wired charging speeds for its flagship phones. However, it is still unclear whether these larger batteries will be included in global models or remain exclusive to the Chinese market.

Honor’s focus on massive batteries may appeal to users looking for smartphones with longer-lasting power, particularly as battery life remains a top concern for many consumers.
