Star Wars has announced a new comic series that will bridge the gap between Episode VI: Return of the Jedi and Episode VII: The Force Awakens. The series, titled Han Solo: Hunt For The Falcon, will focus on Han Solo’s mission to reclaim the Millennium Falcon before the events of Episode VII.
While The Mandalorian and Ahsoka have explored parts of this time period, much of the story between the fall of the Empire and the rise of the First Order is still missing. This new comic promises to give fans a closer look at what happened to Han Solo and his ship during that chaotic time.
Han Solo: Hunt For The Falcon is written by Rodney Barnes, and the first issue will be released on September 3, 2025. The story will follow Han’s journey to get his ship back, showing how he eventually crosses paths with Rey and Finn in Episode VII.
Fans can also expect appearances from familiar faces like Chewbacca and Lando Calrissian, offering moments that the films never fully explored.
