Netflix has released the trailer for its upcoming documentary Trainwreck: The Astroworld Tragedy. The film explores the events of Travis Scott’s 2021 Astroworld Festival, where 10 people died during a crowd surge.

The documentary is part of Netflix’s Trainwreck series, which began with Woodstock ’99. This new entry premieres on June 10, 2025.

Trainwreck: The Astroworld Tragedy includes real footage from festivalgoers, 911 calls, and interviews with survivors and families of the victims. It is co-directed by Yemi Bamiro and Hannah Poulter.

The documentary tells the story of what happened on November 5, 2021, from the point of view of people who were there — including paramedics, security staff, and attendees.

Netflix describes the film as “an exclusive look at that night,” showing how what was supposed to be a fun concert turned into a deadly disaster.

The trailer is now available on YouTube.
