Destiny: Rising

NetEase Games has officially announced that its new mobile RPG shooter, Destiny: Rising, will launch globally on August 28 for iOS and Android devices.

The game is a mobile spin-off set in an alternate timeline before the main Destiny storyline. According to the developers, Destiny: Rising offers a fresh beginning that both new and veteran players can enjoy without prior knowledge of the series.

Described as a “free-to-play mobile RPG shooter,” Destiny: Rising brings familiar features from the Destiny franchise to handheld platforms. The game includes story missions, six-player PvE raids, PvP battles, and open-world objectives. It supports both single-player and co-op play, along with competitive multiplayer modes.

Players will step into the role of Wolf, a customizable Lightbearer, and can also take control of iconic characters such as Ikora Rey and Iron Lord Joiner, each with their own combat abilities. Every Lightbearer will wield a unique Relic, which unlocks special powers and a game-changing Super Ability.

The game also introduces Mythic-tier loot, new weapon types, and customizable gear, promising players a wide range of items to collect and upgrade. Weapons can be shared among characters if they are compatible, adding a strategic layer to building your arsenal.

Destiny: Rising is now available for pre-registration on the App Store and Google Play. Players who register early may receive exclusive rewards at launch.
