Google has refreshed its Pixel Tips app, renaming it My Pixel and adding a new, more organized hub for Pixel users. The update brings a Material 3 Expressive design and sections designed to help users explore and get the most out of their Pixel phones.
The app opens with Featured collections highlighting key features like Camera and Gemini Live, with step-by-step guides to show how they work. Other sections include Get Started for basics, and Make the Most of Your Pixel for tips on Camera, Photos & Videos, creative tools, and more. A videos section at the bottom helps users discover additional Pixel content.
However, the full experience, including bottom navigation tabs for Home, Tips, Support, and Store, is only available in the United States, United Kingdom, Japan, Australia, and Taiwan. Users outside these regions will see the redesigned app and name change, but the Support and Store features will not be available.
The Support tab allows users to run diagnostics, chat with an AI assistant, or book repairs, while the Store tab lets users browse and track Google products directly from the app. New users will also receive onboarding tips when they first set up their Pixel devices.
My Pixel is designed as a central hub to make managing and exploring Pixel phones easier than ever, though some features remain region-locked for now.
