Beast Games Season 2 will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on January 7, marking the return of MrBeast’s large-scale reality competition series.

The new season follows the success of Season 1, which became Prime Video’s most-watched unscripted show, drawing 50 million viewers within 25 days. Amazon has already renewed the series for Seasons 2 and 3.

The first three episodes of Season 2 will be released on January 7. New episodes will then air weekly, with a total of 10 episodes. The season finale is scheduled for February 25. The show will be available exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories.

This season is titled Strong vs. Smart. It features 200 contestants, split evenly between people described as the world’s strongest and the world’s smartest. The challenges are designed to test strength, intelligence, strategy, and endurance. MrBeast has said the new season is “10 times better” than the first, with faster eliminations, more skill-based games, and larger custom-built sets.

Much of the season was filmed in Las Vegas, with some reports suggesting portions were filmed in Saudi Arabia. Filming wrapped in August 2025. One of the main locations, known as “Beast City,” reportedly set a world record for the largest single set used in a competitive reality television show.

The winner of Season 2 will receive a grand prize of $5 million. Total cash and prizes distributed throughout the season are expected to exceed $10 million, placing the show among the highest-paying reality competitions ever produced.

The season will also feature a crossover episode with Survivor. The episode includes Survivor host Jeff Probst and several former contestants, with challenges combining elements from both shows.

Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson returns as host and executive producer. He also serves as a co-creator alongside Sean Klitzner, Tyler Conklin, Mack Hopkins, and others. Promotional material released in December showed large-scale builds, including what MrBeast described as the world’s largest video floor.

With its premiere set for January 7, anticipation is high for what could become one of the biggest reality television events of 2026.
