On December 24, MrBeast asked his followers on X whether he should watch One Piece, saying he was “scared” by the show’s large number of episodes. The post quickly gained millions of views and replies from fans encouraging him to start.
By Christmas Day, MrBeast confirmed that he had begun watching the series. He also changed his profile picture to Monkey D. Luffy, the show’s main character, and wrote that he had been “converted.”
The move sparked widespread reaction online, with fans welcoming him into the One Piece community. The official One Piece account also responded, encouraging him to continue the journey.
Some users questioned whether the timing was linked to promotion, as Netflix is preparing to release the second season of its One Piece live-action series in 2026. However, no official connection has been confirmed.
As of December 26, MrBeast’s posts about One Piece have received tens of millions of views. It remains unclear how far he has progressed in the series, which currently has more than 1,100 episodes.
