Miu Miu & New Balance Unveil Luxurious 530 Mule Collaboration

Miu Miu, the luxury fashion label owned by Prada, has teamed up with New Balance once again to release a new iteration of the iconic 530 sneaker – this time in the form of a mule.

The new design has appeared in two colorways – a rich “Cinnamon” brown and a wear-away white. To convert the 530 into a slip-on mule, the rear of the shoe has been removed and the footbed has been adjusted to match the mule styling.

Signature details from previous Miu Miu x New Balance collaborations remain, such as the special combination of leather and cotton laces that enliven both pairs.

While an official release date has not been announced, the Miu Miu x New Balance 530 mules are expected to hit shelves sometime in the next year through Miu Miu’s channels.

Given the premium pricing of their past joint projects, these mules will likely carry a price tag exceeding $1,000.
