Microsoft Removes Windows 11 TPM Bypass Guide, But It Still Works

Microsoft has removed its official guide for bypassing the TPM and CPU requirements of Windows 11.

This guide, originally published in October 2021, allowed users to modify the Windows Registry to install Windows 11 on unsupported hardware.

While the Registry trick may still work, Microsoft’s decision suggests that it is no longer endorsing this method.

The company now appears to be pushing users to upgrade their hardware if their system does not meet Windows 11’s requirements.

Despite this change, users can still install Windows 11 on unsupported PCs using third-party tools like Rufus, which can create bootable USB drives that bypass TPM checks.

Other methods, such as modifying Windows Update settings or using Tiny11 for low-end systems, remain available.

It is unclear if Microsoft is making this move due to pressure from hardware partners or if stricter enforcement of system requirements is planned for future updates.
