Miami Podcaster Who Backed Trump Faces Deportation Under Immigration Rules

A Cuban-born podcaster known as “El Oski” is facing possible deportation in the United States, despite being a vocal supporter of President Donald Trump. The case highlights the impact of stricter immigration enforcement following Trump’s return to office.

Oscar Alejandro, widely known in Miami’s Cuban community as El Oski, is recognized for his strong public support of Trump. He even has a large tattoo of the former and current president, which took several long sessions to complete.

Now, El Oski finds himself at risk of removal as immigration authorities expand enforcement efforts. His situation reflects a growing problem for many Cubans living in the US under unclear legal status.

El Oski entered the United States in 2019 and was released with an I-220A document, also known as an Order of Release on Recognizance. This document allowed him to stay in the country but did not grant formal parole.

Under current federal interpretation, the I-220A is not considered a lawful entry. Because of this, El Oski cannot apply for permanent residency under the Cuban Adjustment Act, which has long helped Cubans obtain green cards.

In a recent interview with Miami media, El Oski said he is afraid of what may happen next. Speaking in Spanish, he said he believed the administration would help Cubans in his situation, but instead conditions have become stricter.

Despite the risk, El Oski said he does not regret his tattoo or his political support. He said he still hopes the administration will address the legal status of Cubans like him.

Immigration lawyers in Miami are challenging the government’s position in court. Until a final decision is made, El Oski and hundreds of thousands of other Cubans remain in legal limbo, facing possible deportation.
