Meta’s key platforms—Facebook, Instagram, Threads, WhatsApp, and Messenger—are experiencing a significant outage, leaving users unable to access these services.

Reports from users across Bluesky, X, and Reddit confirm issues such as error messages and non-loading apps.

Details of the Outage

• Facebook’s message: “We’re working on getting this fixed as soon as we can.”
• Downdetector statistics:
  • Over 70,000 issue reports for Instagram.
  • More than 100,000 reports for Facebook.
• This outage follows a similar large-scale Meta disruption in March 2024 and another major one in October 2022.

Meta has yet to release an official statement. As of now, it remains unclear when these services will be restored.
