Meri Brown, star of TLC’s Sister Wives, surprised viewers during the latest episode on October 12 when a casual wine and paint night with friends took a NSFW turn. The 54-year-old encouraged her guests to paint eggplants, a suggestion inspired by a social media video comparing vegetables to male anatomy.
“I don’t know how this happened, and I’m feeling kind of embarrassed, but evidently now we’re all painting eggplants,” Brown said in a confessional.
The episode also sparked discussions about emojis and innuendos among Brown and her former sister wives—Christine, Janelle, and Robyn Brown. Meri noted her awareness of social media emoji meanings, while Christine admitted some confusion and Robyn kept it literal.
During the gathering, Brown also shared updates about her personal life, revealing she is “dating a little bit here and there.” She recounted a recent speed dating experience, describing her brief date with a man named Ron as enjoyable and expressing interest in seeing him again.
Brown, who separated from husband Kody Brown in 2022 after 32 years of marriage, has only had one public relationship since the split. She dated a man named Amos for three months in 2024 before ending things, citing differing life goals and values.
Sister Wives airs Sundays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on TLC.
