Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, stunned fashion fans with a new look at Paris Fashion Week on Sunday, Oct. 5. A day after wearing an all-white ensemble for her first-ever appearance at the annual event, Meghan opted for a darker, more dramatic outfit for a follow-up Balenciaga show.
For the Balenciaga Womenswear Spring/Summer 2026 presentation, Meghan wore a sleek black dress paired with matching heels. The outfit contrasted sharply with her all-white look from Saturday, which featured an oversized cape and button-down shirt.
A spokesperson for Meghan said she attended the first show in support of Pierpaolo Piccioli, the new creative director of Balenciaga. Meghan and Piccioli have collaborated over the years, with the spokesperson noting, “She has long admired his craftsmanship and modern elegance, and tonight was no different.”
This weekend marked Meghan’s debut at Paris Fashion Week, though she has attended shows at New York and Toronto Fashion Weeks during her acting career on Suits from 2013 to 2015.
Next, Meghan and Prince Harry will travel to New York City to receive Project Healthy Minds’ Humanitarians of the Year Award on Thursday, Oct. 9, for their work promoting mental well-being and online safety.
